HELLO AND WELCOME
TO THE OTTAWA SCHOENBERG FESTIVAL
AND CHAMBER CONCERTS MEMORY PAGE

HERE ARE A FEW PICTURES FROM THE MEMORABLE DAYS IN OTTAWA WHERE THE SCHOENBERG FAMILY MET SO MANY NICE AND WARM-HEARTED PEOPLE,PARTICULARLY DR. JAMES WRIGHT OF CARLTON UNIVERSITY, WHOSE DEDICATION AND ORGANIZATION MADE THE WHOLE OTTAWA EXPERIENCE POSSIBLE:

 Ronny, Nuria and Larry Schoenberg
preparing for their presentation at the conference.

Who says that Schoenberg isn't also a romantic?!
If you look closely you will see that both young people are listening to the audio guide!

Then, a visit to the Renoir exhibit, with a rather scarey objet d'art awaiting Severine Neff, Anne Schoenberg and Ron Schoenberg (photographed by Barbara Schoenberg)
at the entrance to the art museum:
Here is the presentation of Mr. Rathburn's pictures he took of the young Schoenberg children, as well as letters which showed that Rathburn had been strongly recommended by Schoenberg
for the music scholarship prize circa 1946.
Below Larry, Ronny, Nuria Schoenberg Nono with painter inspired by Schoenberg's oevre: Australian artist Dennis Spiteri
Group picture of Nuria, Larry and Ronny with Yoko Hirota, who played and talked about the 17 Schoenberg piano fragments, and her composer husband, Robert Lemay, whose work she also performed.
